I hate to be writing this, as my family has been coming to grant’s for oil changes and other services since the mid to late 90s and I have been coming here for close to 20 years.I brought my car in for a routine oil change on 6/5. My car was completely fine when I brought it in. After leaving, my car was acting SUPER off (jerking, feeling like the tires were spinning on accelerating, and a rubbing sound when turning) Get home and find the oil was WAY overfilled. Limped my car back to the shop for them to look at. I was hoping to be able to speak with Grant about this, but unfortunately found out he had retired since I had my car in 6 months ago. They kept it overnight because they couldn’t figure out the issue before they closed. Picked it up today and was told the wrong plug was accidentally pulled and my transmission was drained by mistake. They did flush and refill the transmission, as well as reprogrammed the computer after. However, since my husband dropped me off to pickup the car, HE was the one being spoken to, instead of myself (the customer) until I said something.There DEFINITELY needs to be some major retraining of the techs or proven competency on all models of cars before they are allowed to work on them. This was a HUGE OOPS that could have very easily led to an accident, my engine blowing up, or worse.This situation left a VERY bad taste in my mouth. I am not sure I will ever return to Grant’s, which again is sad because I’ve always had good experiences

I travel a lot for work and come here frequently for many years. They are fast and friendly, and one of the lower prices around. They don't pressure other purchases like some shops. Nice guys!
